A. DRESSES
The lead time for our wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses will be between 4-6 weeks.
Normally we recommend ordering your wedding dresses 6 months before the wedding date, to ensure your complete satisfaction and peace of mind. However, our regular lead time is 4-6 weeks.
As each dress is made-to-order there may be slight variance of colour and detailing.
Fabric: Taiwanese made high quality thick bridal satin. If you are familiar with the wedding dress industry, then you should know that top brand names such as Maggie Sottero, Lady Roi, etc. use the same or similar bridal satin. Other fabrics we use include chiffon, taffeta, organza, etc.
There is no additional cost to having your dress made in custom size. Please refer to our how to measure your wedding dress page to determine the best size for you.
Bridal Tales does not offer an alteration service, however we recommend you contact a local tailor for this service.
Most places are fine but avoid dampness, sunlight and smoke. We also recommend the dress is hung in a safe and clean environment to reduce creasing.
All our dresses can be clean. Please refer to the care label attached to the dress on how the dress should be cleaned. If the care label has become detached please
contact us.
B. STATIONERY
For all our stationery, after we have had your approval online or by post and received your final balance, your wedding stationery will be delivered to your preferred address between 3-6 weeks.
Ideally you need to send out your wedding invitations and stationery 3-5 months before your big day.
No! With Bridal Tales you can pick and choose just the items you need, whatever service you select. However many people do opt for most of the items as the full set gives a fantastic impression from start to finish.
Yes, envelopes are included in the price of our wedding invitations, thank you cards, save the date cards and RSVP cards.
C. OTHER PRODUCTS
Our normal lead time is 10 working days.
We are a family run e-commerce business therefore we don’t incur the expenses of high street retailers.
D. POLICIES
We only accept returns or exchanges on merchandise that has not been used and returned with the original packaging within 7 days of dispatch date. We cannot accept returns or exchanges on our dresses and stationery that have been customised for you.
We hope you will be satisfied with any product purchase from our website but if you wish to return an item to us, then we aim to make it as quick and convenient as possible. Any item maybe return within 7 working days of the date of delivery so long as it is unused, in its original packaging and in salable condition. Once we have received the item we will refund you as quickly as possible. Please note postage and packaging will not be refunded unless a product is faulty. This returns policy does not affect your statutory right. Please contact us to obtain returned address.
To exchange a product please send the item back as detailed in the returned section above and place an order for your replacement product online.

E. PAYMENT & DELIVERY
For all online purchases, we take payment once the order has been placed. You can pay with all major credit cards and via your personal Paypal account.
However for all our wedding stationery and packages, we need deposit to confirm your booking with us. This can be paid online, however if you have any enquires please don’t hesitate to contact us. The final balance will be requested once you have approved your stationery order online. We accept payment online, bank transfer and over the telephone, please contact us to obtain these details.
If your credit or debit card was refused while placing an order on bridaltales.co.uk, please re-submit your order using a different card. For details on why your card was refused, please contact your card issuer.
Yes, you can. As long as our deliver service is available in your destination, your order can be sent anywhere in the UK.
