Police were called to a home in Arizona USA on Saturday night after a fracas was reported at the wedding reception which was being held in the back garden of the property. The police responded to an emergency call from an unknown caller who told the authorities that the group were “killing each other” after a fight erupted amongst the party-goers.
It is not known what caused the fight, however upon arrival at the address, the police found the wedding guests brawling in the backyard and were forced to pepper spray the crowd in an attempt to control the situation.
The local fire department had to treat a number of the wedding guests for pepper spray exposure after the substance was used by the police to try to quell the angry mob.
After the officers fired pepper spray, the wedding guests started to turn on the police and backup had to be called in. 28-year-old bride Angela Davito, then had to be restrained after she was seen charging one of her wedding guests, before kicking a police officer.
The newlywed was restrained by police as a result of her disorderly behaviour and was later arrested on charges of assault and obstructing governmental operations.
